Important! FUSA Tryout Information and Maps

Dear FUSA Families,

For all who have registered a player/s for the FUSA 2020-2021 Season Tryouts, thank you for your patience as we navigate through these unprecedented times.

As we approach our first tryout, please note that our top priority and the most important consideration has and always will be the health and safety of our athletes, coaches, and families.

Below are tryout guidelines we are asking everyone to follow. They incorporate best practices and available information for returning to the field of play in accordance with:

Please stay home if you are sick - we all love the game, but one sick child or family member could end the season for the entire Club. Please do your part!

Due to restrictions related to how many people can gather at/on the field at one time, we kindly request that parents stay in their cars and drop off their players for tryouts.

Please review and plan to follow the detailed instructions outlined below:

  • Players are to wait in their cars until they are checked-in. Once checked-in, their cars will advance to the “Player Drop Off Point” (see attached maps).
  • Once players exit their cars they should head directly to the field where they will be assigned, by the Coaches, to a training station.
  • Players should maintain 6-feet distance when walking to and from the field.
  • At the completion of each tryout, players should quickly gather up their ball & water bottle and return to the parking lot for pickup. No remaining on the field and social gathering.
  • There is no congregating allowed on or near any part of the field before, during, or after each tryout session. For this reason, we appreciate the timely pickup of players at the end of each session.
  • Parents must stay in their cars at all times (before, during and after each session)

PPE/Sanitation:

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided for player use before and after tryouts.
  • Coaches are required to wear appropriate face coverings during training sessions. Players must wear masks when in the playing environment and not playing. Players will also be allowed to wear masks while training, but this will be a personal choice of the player’s parent or guardian. Any other individuals attending the training session are required to wear appropriate face coverings and follow all social distancing guidelines.
