Fairfield FAST 2013 LABOR DAY Tournament
The Fairfield United Soccer Association (FUSA) is pleased to announce the 2013 FAST Labor Day Tournament. On behalf of our membership and board of directors, we invite your club to apply for admittance to our 2013 One-Day Tournament.
GENERAL INFORMATION: FAST is a One-Day Tournament with Girls playing on Saturday (8/31) and Boys playing on Sunday (9/1). This tournament is sanctioned by CJSA and the CJSA age limitations will apply. We will be hosting the following age groupings: U9, U10, U11, U12, U13 & U14 in both boys and girls brackets.
U9, U10 & U11 will play 8 vs 8.
U12, U13 & U14 will play 11 vs 11.
The entry fee is $395 for U9 & U10 teams and $450 for U11-U14 teams.
FAST 2013 T-Shirts will be available for a discount if ordered in advance. (Last year we sold-out completely in pre-orders)
WHERE: Tourney headquarters will be at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. Games will be played at several locations in Fairfield.
WHEN: Competition will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2013 and will conclude on Sunday, September 1, 2013.
WHAT: Each participating team will play a minimum of 3-4 games in a round robin format. U11-U14 Winners and Runner-ups will receive individual trophies. Participation awards will be given for all players on U9 & U10 teams. Team patches will be exchanged after each game.
WHO: Applications are invited from classic travel teams that are duly registered with their State, Provincial or National Association. A team shall consist of a maximum of 18 players for U9-U11 teams and a maximum of 21 players for U12-U14 teams. Proof of age will be by US Youth player pass or State or National Association. Note: If required by your state or region, a permission to travel form will be required in order to participate.
Three guest players will be allowed per team. However a player may only be rostered on one team registered in the tournament.
